YMCA seeks a Substitute Programmer for the YMCA Physical Healthy Development Before and After School program across five HRM sites. You will deliver engaging programming, supervise children, and maintain records while collaborating with families and staff.

Reporting to the Site Coordinator at the specific site, theYPHD Substitute Programmer is responsible for delivering high-qualityprogramming that creates a safe, inclusive, engaging, and nurturing environmentwhere children can learn, grow, and thrive.
The Substitute Programmer ensures compliance with all YMCApolicies, procedures, and Provincial Before and After Program (BAP)requirements while actively supervising children and fostering meaningfullearning experiences through play.
The Programmer also supports the day-to-day operation of theprogram by maintaining a safe environment, building positive relationships withchildren and families, and contributing to the overall success of the site.
