Placements24 is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Youth Mentor and Support Worker to join their fully remote team, serving youth in the Kimberley area. You will provide guidance, support, and encouragement to help young people develop life skills and resilience.

You will conduct one-on-one mentoring, set goals, connect youth with educational and recreational programs, and monitor progress through virtual check-ins.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or certificate in Youth Work, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with young people in a mentoring, coaching, or support capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and positive relationships with teenagers.
  • Understanding of adolescent development and common challenges faced by youth.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and maintaining digital records.

Responsibilities
