Job summary

Society For The Involvement Of Good Neighbors Inc. in YORKTON is seeking a motivated, empathetic individual to join the Adolescent Group Home team.

You will work with youth, program manager, and case management supervisor to deliver quality programming and support daily living, education, emotional and social development. The position requires rotating day/evening shifts, weekend availability, and a recent clear Criminal Record Check.

Qualifications

  • The energy and aptitude to support youth while working well with a team.
  • Experience working with youth and/or in a residential setting would be ideal.
  • Post-secondary education and/or training would be an asset.
  • A recent (6 months or less), clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check; Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Attend scheduled shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
  • Provide overall case management for one or more youth
  • Comply with case plans for each resident
  • Assess, evaluate, plan, and revise youth care as directed by the AGH Program Manager or AGH Case Management Supervisor
  • Protect health and safety by adopting safe work practices
  • Collaborate with coworkers and youth to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate youth care
  • Ensure nutritional and health requirements of residents are met
  • Plan, teach and participate in social and recreation opportunities for youth residents
  • Complete required paperwork in written format and with Microsoft Office

Hours: 150 hours per 4-week period; rotational shift work including 8:30am to 5pm or 10am to 10pm
Term Date: August 31, 2026 to August 31, 2027 (with the possibility of an earlier end date)
SIGN is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and youth centered individual, to work with the Team, Program Manager and Case Management Supervisor in so to fulfill the overall objectives of the home. The position will assist in the development and implementation quality programming that will enhance the personal, educational, emotional, and social development of the youth living in the home.

Expectations:
