TUMI is seeking an Associate Manager for its Retail team to deliver an exceptional client experience reflecting the brand ethos. You will build strong client relationships and drive sales through outstanding service.

You will lead training and development, manage store goals, and collaborate with management to maintain visual guidelines and client books, ensuring top-tier client experience.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop associates through role-play and coaching; support Store Manager with training.
• Communicate effectively; adapt messaging to all levels; promote business goals; de-escalate when needed.
• Manage personal timecards, maintain training, adhere to company policies.
• Follow visual guidelines; ensure superior client experience; maintain client books and event strategies.

Role Overview

As part of our Retail team, the Associate Manager is responsible for creating a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of our brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Performance to Goals: Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Leadership and Initiative: Display a good sense of initiative, plan and prioritize, display strategic thinking and champion change in an effective manner; take pride in work and strive for excellence; take responsibility for performance and meet deadlines.
• People Development: Train and develop associates through role‑play and coaching, support the Store Manager with training, complete quarterly goal‑setting for personal development, provide 360‑degree coaching, remain open to feedback.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills, adapt communication to all levels, promote business goals, remain calm and de‑escalate, collaborate effectively.
• Compliance: Manage personal timecards, maintain training, adhere to all company policies.
• Visual Merchandising / Client Experience: Follow visual guidelines, enforce excellent client service, maintain client books, thank you cards, execute event strategies, ensure superior client experience.
