Northstar Access in Canada is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee payroll, benefits, performance and talent management while upholding safety and compliance.

You will collaborate with the Director of HR to support staffing, recruitment and retention, and build strong relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR generalist experience.
• 2+ years experience coaching/ providing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll, benefits, performance and talent management, productivity, employee relations, recognition, DEI, and training and development.
• Collaborate with Director, HR to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
• Build effective relationships across the organization through effective communication.
• Confidentially manage disputes and grievance resolution through effective incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations, while addressing various collective agreement requirements.
• Facilitate the professional development, training, and career development of direct reports.
• Ensure all employee information in company HRIS system through effective process audits and established audit schedules.
• Collaborate with Health and Safety to support initiatives, programs, and promote safety at work.
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Post-Secondary Degree, Diploma, or Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources or Human Resources Management or a related field
• 3+ Years HR generalist experience
• 2+ Years experience coaching/ providing leadership
