Peri GmbH in Surrey, BC is seeking a Yard Manager to lead yard operations, fleet, and facilities, ensuring safety and continuous improvement. You will manage shipping, receiving, refurbishment, and inventory accuracy while driving KPIs and cost reductions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehouse or rental yard with 3+ years in leadership, proficient in MS Office, and committed to health and safety standards. Competitive salary range: CA$85,000–CA$100,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse/yard experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to oversee day-to-day operations of yard, stock, and facilities.
• Experience in inventory control and KPI tracking.
• Working knowledge of provincial Health & Safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop yard team to deliver customer service and uphold standards.
• Oversee stock yard operations including shipping, receiving, and refurbishment.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; optimize labor, equipment, and space.
• Maintain facilities, obtain quotes, and manage contractors.
• Enforce health, safety and compliance; conduct safety talks and inspections.
• Provide regular updates to management and cross-functional collaboration.
