Job summary

Ledcor Group in Milton, Ontario, is hiring a Yardwork Labourer to support shipping, receiving and inventory control, and to maintain a safe, organized yard and assist with equipment and fleet maintenance. You will operate forklifts and skid steers, manage records, and work with the crew on excavation and conduit installation projects, while keeping vehicles clean and organized.

Outdoor role requiring good time management, problem-solving and strong communication, with travel to site locations

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and skid steers is required.
• Ability to read underground telecommunication plans and work maps is an asset.
• Must have a clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in shipping and receiving is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and inventory counts.
• Manage order processing and general warehouse tasks.
• Maintain records through daily organization and filing.
• Ensure yard cleanliness and organization.
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and related paperwork.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Support crew with tasks including excavation and conduit installation.
• Assist in restoring job sites to their original condition after work is completed.
• Maintain a safe work environment for crew, public, customer, and Ledcor.
