Job summary

Michels Canada is seeking a Yard Coordinator to join our team in Nisku, Alberta. You will help maintain safe, efficient yard operations for a large equipment fleet, working with shop and office teams and third‑party providers.

The role requires 3+ years of outdoor labour, a valid Class 5 license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift or loader experience is preferred. You will manage inventory, assist with yard moves, and support overall site safety year‑round.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outdoor labour experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Forklift or loader experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors year‑round.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers.
• Perform inspections and repairs for small tooling (hand tools, pumps, etc.).
• General yard and property housekeeping, including sweeping and snow removal.
• Assist with equipment staging and yard moves.
• Support spotting for trucks and heavy equipment.
• Organize yard operations and meet equipment needs as directed.
• Shipping, receiving and maintaining inventory for jobsites.
• Load/unload materials and assist with restocking.
• Provide support with building maintenance and furniture assembly as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
