Job summary

Joe Johnson Equipment in Edmonton is seeking a Yard Coordinator to oversee the movement and management of equipment in our yard. You will receive and inspect units, coordinate movement to support shop operations, and prepare trucks for handover to technicians.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar yard role, safe operation of company vehicles, and strong communication. You will help with yard maintenance, loading/unloading, and seasonal tasks while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a Yard Coordinator role or related position.
• Ability to safely operate Company vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming units in the yard and conduct inspections.
• Coordinate movement of equipment to support shop operations.
• Prepare trucks for technician handover and shuttle units to vendors.
• Oversee yard maintenance and seasonal tasks.
