Rentco Equipment Ltd. in Grande Prairie is seeking a full-time Yard Hand/General Labourer to join our head office team. You will prepare rental equipment for customers, test and demonstrate equipment use, and ensure safe loading/unloading. Maintain a clean, safe yard and assist with records, washing and fueling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment for customers accurately and efficiently.
• Test equipment and demonstrate operation to customers as required.
• Oversee secure and accurate loading and unloading of equipment.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment for safety and proper function.
• Inspect returned equipment for damages and fuel, report issues promptly.
• Keep yard and shop neat, organized and safe; clear debris and snow.
• Prepare records of incoming, outgoing, or damaged equipment per Rentco procedures.
• Wash and fuel equipment.

We are currently hiring a full‑time Yard Hand/General Labourer to join our Grande Prairie Head Office team.

As the Yard Hand/Labourer, you are responsible for:

• Accurately and efficiently preparing rental equipment for customers
• Testing equipment and showing customers how to operate equipment as required
• Overseeing the secure and accurate loading and unloading of equipment
• Performing routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order using the rental tagging system
• Inspecting returned equipment for damages and fuel and reporting immediately to counter
• Ensuring that yard and shop is neat, organized, and safe by putting equipment in proper locations and ensuring that debris and snow is cleared
• Preparing records of incoming, outgoing, or damaged equipment as required per Rentco procedures
• Washing and fueling equipment
