Job summary

Bartle & Gibson Co. is seeking a Yard Operations Supervisor to oversee all yard activities, ensure safety standards, and deliver excellent customer service to truck drivers and customers.

You will direct daily yard functions, maintain product quality, and enforce company policies to support productivity goals. The role requires prior yard experience, ability to work under pressure, and a focus on safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Yard experience - min 2 years
• Knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical industry products will be considered an asset
• Forklift Experience an asset
• First Aid Certificate an asset

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all yard operations, safety, and housekeeping
• Ensure proper procedures are followed for accessing and departing the yard
• Ensure high level of customer service both for truck drivers and customers
• Direct and control all activities in the yard
• Maintain high level of product quality
• Work towards achieving company objectives regarding productivity, customer service
• Ensure adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures
• Ensure a positive and safe work environment
• Other duties as required
