Job summary

CMI is hiring a General Labour / Yard Grader in Cambridge, ON to support operations outdoors, handling shipping and receiving of recycled metals and assisting customers at the yard.

You will sort material, advise on type and grade, and help with housekeeping while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Previous industrial or outdoor work experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in sorting.

Location:

454 Dobbie Dr, Cambridge ON, N1T 1S7

Shift:

8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, every other Saturday

Pay Rate:

from $19 and up based upon experience and qualifications

The salary range shown above reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

Here’s what we do…

CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Here’s where you come in…

CMI is looking for a General Labour / Yard Grader to join our Operations team. Working outdoors, in a team environment, you will be involved with the shipping and receiving of recycled metal.

• Previous experience in an industrial facility is an asset
• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• Previous experience working outdoors is a bonus
• Good English communication skills
• Posses the desire and ability to learn
