Join our Distribution team as a Yard Worker at the Attwell Distribution Centre in Etobicoke, ON.

This full-time, permanent role involves operating a forklift, handling orders, loading equipment, and maintaining safety and efficiency on the yard with a focus on 5S and accurate order

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, yard, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely handle and move large, bulky products.
• Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Comfortable working with both metric and imperial measurements.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 10,000 lb counterbalance forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload flatbed and dry van trailers.
• Verify products and quantities against order documentation.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to process inventory transactions.
• Ensure orders are completed and ready to meet delivery requirements.
• Support loading activities in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S principles.
• Follow all safety policies and operating standards.
• Identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.
