Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Yard Worker for our Attwell Distribution Centre in Etobicoke, ON. You will pick, stage, and load customer orders while maintaining high safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities include operating a 10,000 lb forklift, using RF scanners, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. We offer a 7:00am–3:00pm schedule and a starting pay of $30.07/hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, yard, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely handle and move large, bulky products.
• Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfortable working with both metric and imperial measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 10,000 lb counterbalance forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload flatbed and dry van trailers.
• Verify products and quantities against order documentation.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to process inventory transactions.
• Ensure orders are completed and ready to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Support customer and carrier loading activities in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and performance targets.
