Job summary

Kent Building Supplies in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, is looking for associates to assist customers with product displays, loading their items, and maintaining a clean yard. The role requires manual handling and working outside in varying weather conditions.

Successful candidates will have a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and be willing to operate equipment. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure service quality. Flexible work hours including days, evenings, and weekends are necessary.

Qualifications

• Able to work days/evenings/weekends (rotating shifts).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product information, sales, and arranging deliveries
• Load/unload materials and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
• Maintain inventory, replenish stock, and ensure the yard is clean and organized
• Prepare invoices, quotes, and delivery documents
• Use our system (D365) to manage inventory updates
• Follow all safety procedures and standards
