Job summary

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a Yard Associate in Canada to uphold safety, service, and merchandising standards. The role involves standing, walking and lifting, plus learning products and policies while asking for help when needed.

You will greet customers, assist with sales and deliveries, maintain inventory, and follow all safety procedures. The position requires good communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs; forklift training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to operate machinery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Possess a high level of attention to details.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to work days/evening/weekends (rotating shifts).
• Ability to learn and operate the D365 system used to process orders.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
