Job summary

Insight Medical Imaging is seeking X Ray Technologists for a casual position with rotation across 16 locations in Edmonton and surrounding area. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment operation, and collaboration with radiologists and physicians, with opportunities to train and cross-train in BD, Fluoroscopy, and ECGs.

Qualifications

• MRT(R)/CLXT designation in good standing CAMRT, ACMDTT or ACCLXT.
• Bone Density and Pain Management training preferred.
• Medication preparation certificate is preferred.
• CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
• Committed to excellence in patient care and imaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures as set forth by Radiologists and referring Physicians.
• Responsible for operation and basic maintenance of all equipment.
• DI Equipment: Must have working knowledge of all equipment and ensure all units are functioning correctly.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness of the radiographic area, with attention to radiation safety and infection control.
• Knowledge of computer systems and all DI office duties.
• Assist in training of new staff and students, as requested by MGM.
• Willingness to cross train in BD, Fluoroscopy and ECGs.

Insight is currently seeking X Ray Technologists to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a casual position with rotation across our 16 locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area

Duties and Responsibilities:
