Job summary

Insight Medical Imaging is seeking X Ray Technologists to join a growing team. This permanent, full-time role offers rotation across 16 locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas, with a focus on patient care and high-quality imaging.

The position emphasizes clinical radiography, safety, and collaboration with radiologists and physicians. Training opportunities include BD, Fluoroscopy, and ECGs, supporting professional development in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medication Preparation training within the first three months of employment.
• MRT: Completion of Bone Densitometry training within the first 3 months of employment.
• CLXT: Enrolment in Bone Densitometry course within first three months and completion within first 6 months of employment.
• CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs a variety of standardized and/or complex radiographic procedures as set forth by the Radiologists and our referring Physicians.
• Operates and maintains DI equipment and ensures all units are functioning correctly.
• Maintains safety and infection control in the radiographic area, with focus on radiation safety.
• Assists in training of new staff and students, cross-training in BD, Fluoroscopy and ECGs.

Insight is currently seeking X Ray Technologists to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a permanent, full-time position with rotation across our 16 locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and performs a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures as set forth by the Radiologists and our referring Physicians.
• Responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of all equipment.
• DI Equipment: Must have working knowledge of all equipment and ensure all units are functioning correctly.
• Responsible for maintaining safety and the general care and cleanliness of the radiographic area, with particular attention to radiation safety and infection control.
• Knowledge of computer systems and all DI office duties.
• Assist in the training of new staff and students, as requested by MGM.
• Willingness to cross train in BD, Fluoroscopy and ECG's.

Qualifications:

• Pain Management and Bone Densitometry trained preferred.
• Completion of Medication Preparation training within the first three months of employment
• CLXT: Enrolment in Bone Densitometry course within first three months of employment and completion within first 6 months of employment.
• MRT: Completion of Bone Densitometry training within the first 3 months of employment.
• CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
