Job summary

First Baptist Church, Lloydminster is seeking a Director of Worship and Creative Arts to lead weekly worship, plan services, and oversee media production. The role requires musical ability, strong communication, and a heart for mentoring volunteers within a faith-centered ministry.

The position is full-time and reports to church leadership. You will collaborate with pastors to shape worship experiences that communicate the gospel and engage the community in meaningful ways.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to share the gospel with others.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Musical abilities (vocal and instrumental).
• Organizational skills with volunteers and teams.
• Ability to lead, train and empower others.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee weekly worship gatherings and special events.
• Oversee worship teams, audio/visual production, and media for services.
• Recruit and mentor volunteers for worship ministry and youth/children programs.
• Develop and communicate vision aligned with church mission and gospel.
• Maintain licensing for copyrighted worship elements.
