Job summary

Bombardier seeks a Workplace Investigator to conduct thorough investigations, draft comprehensive reports, and present findings. The role involves traveling to Montréal-area sites and delivering training on workplace issues.

A bilingual (French and English) professional with experience in harassment and violence matters is preferred, with CHI designation as an asset. The successful candidate joins a team focused on fair, diligent investigations and continuous improvement across diverse

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting workplace investigations.
  • Ability to determine intervention strategies and analyze documentation.
  • Draft detailed investigation reports and present findings.
  • Ability to work across diverse environments and grasp workplace challenges.
  • Deliver training on workplace issues and communicate complex topics clearly.
  • Training in investigative techniques; harassment/violence training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act with diligence, fairness, and objectivity in handling workplace related complaints.
  • Determine intervention strategies and conduct investigations; meet with witnesses, complainants, and respondents, and analyze documentation.
  • Draft detailed reports and executive summaries, and present investigation findings to committees as well as to individuals involved in the case.
  • Understand complex issues in diverse environments and be able to quickly grasp workplace related challenges.
  • Deliver training on various topics related to issues encountered in the workplace and demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate and simplify complex subjects.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of approaches, methods, and tools.

How to thrive in this role?
  • You have knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations.
  • Youknowledge and experience in drafting investigation reports.You have knowledge and experience related to workplace harassment and violence.
  • You are able to go to Bombardier's different sites in the Montréal area on a regular basis, and travel if necessary.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have training in investigative techniques.
  • You have training related to workplace harassment and violence.
  • You are fully bilingual (French and English). Working knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
  • You hold a Certified Harassment Investigator (CHI) designation, or a similar certificate, which would be considered an asset.
