Job summary

The Government of Nova Scotia, CSDS in Halifax, is seeking a SAP Product Lead to guide the ongoing operation and modernization of SAP HCM, Payroll and SuccessFactors landscapes. You will manage day-to-day service delivery, drive improvements, and collaborate with business stakeholders, partners, and technical specialists to align priorities with government needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with HR/payroll transformation and ERP projects.
• Experience working with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to define priorities and resolve issues.
• Experience gathering and validating business requirements and managing product backlogs.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and ITSM.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business transformation and cloud adoption initiatives, including SAP SuccessFactors.
• Provide product support across lifecycles, including discovery, requirements definition, solution design, configuration validation, testing, cutover, deployment, stabilization, and support.
• Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation priorities.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs across steady-state and modernization efforts.
• Coordinate business participation in migration, integration, payroll validation, and readiness activities.
• Support governance, roadmap development, stakeholder engagement, and decisions.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to monitor deliverables and manage risks.
