Job summary

Mpa Recruitment seeks a Workday Payroll Senior Lead for Emerging Markets in Toronto. You will own the payroll delivery and enablement strategy for smaller customers, focusing on rapid, repeatable delivery using Kainos Spark & Grow methodology.

Lead implementations, partner with Sales on scoping, and build playbooks, templates, and accelerators to make delivery scalable and cost-efficient in emerging markets. Requires 5+ years in Workday Payroll and country certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Workday Payroll implementation experience including 3+ years leading end-to-end implementations
• Certification in at least one Workday Payroll country plus one additional Workday module
• Proven ability to build complex payroll calculations; multiple positions and FEINs
• Deep knowledge of Workday Payroll and interdependencies with Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits; knowledge of tax/garnishments, CBAs/unions, payroll accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Payroll implementations for small and mid-sized customers using Kainos Spark & Grow methodology
• Configure complex payroll calculations for multi-position scenarios across markets
• Partner with Sales on scoping, discovery, and producing right-sized estimates/SOW inputs
• Establish repeatable delivery assets, localization checklists, and knowledge articles for smaller customers
