Job summary

Kognitiv Inc. is seeking a Workday Payroll Architect to lead complex AMS post-production initiatives across multiple countries from Canada. You’ll own payroll configurations, testing, and optimization with autonomy.

You bring 8+ years of Workday Payroll experience, deep US payroll mastery, and global SKUs knowledge. Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive-level stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading Workday Payroll implementations or AMS engagements as lead consultant or architect.
• Deep command of US statutory requirements, tax rules, retro logic and EIB data conversions.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll SKUs for Canada, UK, France, Ireland or Australia.
• Broad Workday knowledge across HCM, Security, Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields and Data Analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for large datasets and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Be the SME for strategic, high-impact Workday Payroll initiatives from post-production optimizations to multi-country rollouts.
• Architect end-to-end payroll solutions—design, configure, test, troubleshoot.
• Coordinate touchpoints between Payroll, HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Finance to ensure system harmony.
• Partner with executives to translate business objectives into scalable Workday architecture and advise leaders.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing to improve delivery.
