Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Workday Payroll Lead with expertise in Canadian Payroll and Workday Payroll implementations. The successful candidate will design, deploy, and maintain Workday Payroll solutions while coordinating with broader payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Oracle).

US Payroll experience is a plus. The role involves leading payroll workstreams, configuring and migrating payroll data, and advising clients on best practices in a global enterprise environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience in a Senior Consultant or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • English is required for this position in multinational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the payroll workstream in Workday implementation projects.
  • Design and deploy Workday Payroll solutions ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Manage Workday Payroll configurations, updates, and migrations to production.
  • Provide support for payroll processes including post-payroll activities.
  • Address legal, regulatory, and year-end reporting requirements in Workday.
  • Research and resolve Workday Payroll issues and support client requirements.
  • Manage small onshore and offshore functional teams.
  • Advise clients on industry standards and innovative solutions.
  • Provide project status updates to the Project Manager and manage client relationships.
