Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst, Payroll, to own and optimize our Workday Payroll ecosystem across Canada. You will partner with Payroll and People Solutions to drive automation, implement new features, and ensure data integrity for in‑house payroll processes.

The role balances operational reliability with strategic projects, supports onboarding of new countries, and requires deep Workday expertise, strong stakeholder communication, and a bias for rigorous execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HRIS/People Systems with extensive Workday configuration.
• Experience with payroll operations and security.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical anchor for Workday Payroll and related HRIS tools.
• Lead payroll changes end to end from requirements to deployment.
• Onboard new payroll countries as Stripe expands.
• Identify and pilot Workday automation and AI-driven features.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit on payroll controls.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for payroll/security issues.
