Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Mississauga/Toronto, ON, is seeking a Workday HRIS co-op student to support day-to-day human resources processes within the HRIS team. You will handle routine Workday transactions and assist with data accuracy and documentation.

The role offers exposure to HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Recruitment and Learning, with opportunities to participate in system enhancements and reporting projects while you learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Commerce, HR, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Workday experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Workday HRIS transactions such as new hires, changes, terminations.
• Assist with managing Workday support queue and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain data integrity through audits of security roles, cost centers, reporting structures.
• Support documentation and job aids for Workday processes.
• Assist with system enhancements and semi-annual Workday release prep.
• Run reports as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are live in the following HR modules in Workday: HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Recruitment and Learning.
