Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a co-op student to join the Workday HRIS team in a hands-on, learning-focused role. You will help administer day-to-day HR processes in Workday and support system enhancements and reporting needs.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a post-secondary program in Business, Commerce, HR Management or related field, with strong communication skills and a proactive, organized approach to work. Knowledge of Workday is an asset, and MS Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary program in Business, Commerce, Human Resources Management or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Workday transactions for employee-related processes (new hires, changes, terminations).
• Update and maintain organizational data and job assignments in Workday.
• Assist with managing Workday Support inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Conduct data audits to ensure system integrity (security roles, cost centers, reporting structures).
• Maintain documentation and job aids for Workday; support library updates.
