Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Ashcroft, BC, offers a Maintenance Engineering Co-op from January to August 2027. You will join the Plant Maintenance team to support the CMMS, shadow journeymen, and help develop maintenance SOPs and SWIs.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, committed to safety, with strong MS Office skills. AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks are assets.

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program.
  • Demonstrates commitment to health and safety.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Plant Maintenance team to support CMMS.
  • Shadow Millwrights and Journeymen to create maintenance SOPs and SWIs.
  • Assist Reliability Engineer with review of PM and PdM activities, developing tasks.
  • Perform spare parts optimization for PM/PdM tasks.
  • Assist Maintenance Superintendent with project management including tendering, planning, installation and closeout.
  • Prepare drawings and modeling for projects.
  • Collaborate with Millwrights to standardize PM templates and documentation.
  • Contribute to other engineering projects supporting plant operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
