YWCA Regina Inc. is hiring a Diversion Support Worker for daytime services in Regina.

You will provide front-line crisis support to women and families, using trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and client-centered approaches to connect them with housing, health, food, safety, and related services. The role is full-time, 32 hours per week, on a 5-5-4 rotation including weekends and holidays, with shifts from 6:45am to 3:15pm.

Qualifications

Hours of Work 32 weekly 6:45am-3:15pm on a 5-5-4 rotation including weekends and holidays

Diversion Support Worker provides front-line support to those experiencing crisis or immediate needs related to food, safety, housing, health and more. They take a trauma-informed, harm reduction and client-centered approach to women and families with complex barriers. And they use their strong knowledge of internal and external services to connect or refer those they serve to appropriate support. By building trusted relationships, the Diversions Support Worker diverts individuals in need away from use of emergency services by connecting them to relevant information, programs and supports.
