Toyotetsu Canada Inc. is seeking an Accounting Co-op Student to join our Accounting Department for the Winter Term starting January 2027. The role focuses on daily accounts payable, journal entries, and asset records with emphasis on accuracy and deadlines.

You will support monthly cheque runs, asset management, and assist in internal audits while collaborating across teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college/university for accounting/business, with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse team members.

Responsibilities

• Daily Accounts Payable tasks: print invoices, match, vouchers, enter, scan, file.
• Review account statements and adjust reports for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and assist with cheque runs.
• Record Fixed Assets and assist with internal audits.
• Cross-train with other roles for vacation coverage.
