Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a reliable equipment operator to perform winter highway maintenance in Alberta. You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment to keep Alberta Provincial Highways safe and functional.

The role demands physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and willingness to work shifts, on-call, and night hours. Training is provided for equipment operation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Clear 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset; training provided.
• Ability to work shift work, on-call, and night shifts as required.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
