Job summary

Clintar Winnipeg is seeking on-call snow removal staff to manage winter operations for commercial properties. You will operate snow equipment, respond quickly to snow and ice events, and ensure safe, efficient removal with proper safety protocols.

The role involves overnight shifts, flexible hours, and participation in a seasonal schedule including weekends and holidays, with opportunities for advancement and a season-end bonus for full-shift commitments.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in snow removal role
• Role demands flexible hours, often overnight, including weekends and holidays
• On-call availability from November – April
• Cell phone data with data required

Responsibilities

• Operate F550's and F750's sanding roadways, parking lots and other designated areas.
• Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal
• Respond to emergency calls for sanding, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
• Spread salt, sand, or other de-icing agents on road surfaces to enhance traction and melt ice.
• Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal.
• Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used.
• Load own truck
• Provide professional service
• Follow all health & safety regulations
