Job summary

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in Winnipeg is seeking on-call snow removal specialists to manage snow clearing and de-icing for commercial properties. Roles are seasonal, often overnight or day shifts, with prompt response to events and direct deposit provided.

Candidates should have 5+ years of snow removal experience, be available November through April, and be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. A data-enabled cell phone is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, tractors or equipment to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and designated areas.
• Maintain clean sites and prevent property damage during removal.
• Respond to emergency snow removal calls, including during heavy snowfalls or severe weather.
• Communicate with supervisors/dispatch about road conditions, progress and issues.
• Work in challenging weather, including cold temperatures and night shifts to ensure timely removal.
• Keep time logs and records of equipment maintenance and materials used.
• Provide professional service and follow health & safety regulations.

Job Summary

• Operate Loaders or Ag Tractor with snowplows to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots and other designated areas.
• Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal
• Respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
• Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal.
• Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used.
