Job summary

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking an on-call, part-time snow removal and de-icing operator for commercial properties in Winnipeg, MB. We provide safe equipment, experienced leadership, direct deposit, and a season-end bonus for full-shift commitments.

These on-call roles often involve overnight shifts and responding promptly to snow and ice events. Responsibilities include operating heavy trucks, keeping sites clean, coordinating with dispatch, applying salt/sand, and maintaining

• 3 years experience in snow removal
• Willing to work overnight, weekends and holidays
• On-call availability November–April
• Requires mobile data plan

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy plow/sanding trucks to treat roadways, parking lots and designated areas.
• Maintain clean sites and prevent property damage during snow removal.
• Respond to emergency calls for sanding during heavy snow or severe weather.
• Communicate with supervisors/dispatch about road conditions and progress.
• Spread salt, sand, or de-icing agents to improve traction and melt ice.
• Work in cold, snowy, and possibly night shifts to ensure timely removal.
• Maintain records of work, time logs, and equipment usage.
• Load own truck and provide professional service.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Operate F550's F750's sanding roadways, parking lots and other designated areas.
• Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal
• Respond to emergency calls for sanding, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
• Spread salt, sand, or other de-icing agents on road surfaces to enhance traction and melt ice.
• Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal.
• Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used.
• Load own truck

• Follow all health & safety regulations

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in previous snow removal role
• The role demands flexible hours, often overnight, including weekends and holidays
• On-call availability from November – April

Wage

$25.00-$27.00 HR
