Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is offering a Co-op opportunity in Toronto within a hybrid work arrangement. You will analyze business challenges and design AI-enabled automation solutions, building prototypes and demonstrations for stakeholder reviews.

The program emphasizes Generative AI, workflow automation, and data-driven storytelling. You will develop executive-level presentations and roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create polished PowerPoint presentations with data visualization and infographics.
• Experience developing or configuring AI, automation, or software solutions through academic or projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate technology against business needs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical terms for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business challenges and identify technology solutions aligned with goals and priorities.
• Conduct market research, vendor evaluations, and capability assessments for Generative AI and automation.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, roadmaps, and infographics communicating complex concepts.
• Build, configure, and test AI Agents and automation solutions for business use cases.
• Create prototypes, proofs of concept, and demonstrations for potential solutions.
• Support end-to-end delivery of automation and AI initiatives, including deployment and adoption.
• Document use cases, process flows, requirements, benefits, KPIs, and recommendations.
• Contribute to workshops and stakeholder discussions to identify opportunities for automation.
• Track industry trends to identify opportunities for adoption and continuous improvement.
