CIBC Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) in Toronto is seeking a Student Analyst to support market-leading FX and cross-border payment solutions. You will work on product development, business strategy and client engagement initiatives for a diverse client base, with placement in Sales or Product teams based on fit.

The term is 4 months (January 2027 – April 2027) and on-site work is required. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in Commerce, Economics, STEM or related field, graduating

Qualifications

Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or related program at the time of the internship, with a graduation date no earlier than August 2027.
Technical undergraduate degrees are highly valued, and strong analytical skills are essential.
Candidates should demonstrate academic success, teamwork and extracurricular involvement.

Responsibilities

Support product development, business strategy, and client engagement initiatives across a diverse client base.
Contribute to market research, analytics and reporting to inform decision making.
Assist Sales or Product teams with project execution and performance analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Capital Markets, Payments, Technology and Operations.
