Job summary

The Wine Shop in Barrie, Ontario is hiring for a customer-focused sales teammate. You will deliver a superior shopping experience, assist guests with purchases, provide product information, and help with merchandising and light cleaning of shelves.

Two years of customer service experience and Smart Serve certification are required, along with flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Expect competitive hourly pay and perks like wine allotment and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and displays.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team's efforts.
