Job summary

Linen Chest is seeking a Window treatment sales and design consultant to join our on-the-road team. You will visit customers in your designated territory, offer expert advice, and sell our window fashion products using digital tools to measure, record, and configure specifications.

Develop written proposals, plan sales strategy, and build lasting client relationships. A high school diploma is required; in-home or outside sales in retail/home furnishings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is a requirement, college degree or some college coursework is preferred.
• In-home or outside sales experience preferably in custom products/services.
• Experience in a retail environment, preferably in home furnishings and décor.
• Proficiency using computer software applications and ability to learn new technology and systems.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance coverage.
• Passion for design, sales and building lifetime customer relationships
• Bilingual

Responsibilities

• Make phone calls, in-person visits to our customers, make presentations to existing customers and potential future customers.
• Develop clear and effective written proposals for existing and potential clients.
• Plan and organize the personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on investment for the territory / sector.
• Write written and oral reports on customers' needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and the potential for new products and services.

As a Window dressing sales and design consultant you would be working on the road, visiting customers in your designated teritory, offering expert advice and selling our products using innovative digital selling tools and standards to measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently.
