Job summary

Linen Chest is seeking a Window Treatment Sales & Design Consultant for Vaughan, Newmarket, Barrie, East Toronto, Pickering and surrounding areas. The role involves visiting customers, offering expert guidance, and selling window coverings with a focus on design and service excellence.

You will use digital selling tools and contribute to strategic initiatives while building lifetime customer relationships in a dynamic sales environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
• Experience in in-home or outside sales, preferably in custom products or virtual selling.
• Ability to learn software applications and new technology quickly.

Responsibilities

• Make phone calls and develop sales presentations for clients in-person and virtually.
• Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize conversion and ROI in territory.
• Assist customers in selecting color, style, texture, and functionality of window coverings.
• Return calls and manage communications with urgency.
• Use a system to manage contacts, appointments, and priorities.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

As a Window covering sales and design consultant, you would be working on the road, visiting customers, in your dedicated market, offering expert advice and selling our products using innovative digital selling tools and processes that are constantly improving. We also offer the opportunity to get involved with high-level strategic and other initiatives.

• Make phone calls, create and develop sales presentations for prospective customers in-person and virtually.
• Plan and organize the personal sales strategy by maximizing conversion and the return on investment for the territory.
• Ability to help customers make decision on color, style, texture, and functionality of window coverings.
• Return calls from customers and administration with a high sense of urgency.
• Use a system to manage contacts, appointments, and other pressing priorities.
• Ability to quickly learn new product lines and processes
• Able to work independently and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Business Development & looking for new sales opportunities.
• Passion for design, sales and building lifetime customer relationships
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is a requirement, college degree or some college coursework is preferred.
• In-home or outside sales experience preferably in custom products/services or virtual selling
• Proficiency using computer software applications and ability to learn new technology and systems.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance coverage.
