Artek Film Solutions specializes in graphics, signage/displays and window film installations. We are looking for an install technician/apprentice who would like to start or continue their career in the industry to come join our team for an immediate start. Previous experience and knowledge in the application of vinyl graphics/wraps, architectural & window films and other digital large format signage & displays on vehicles and building applications would be a definite asset.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Core Responsibilities
- Working within an allotted timeframe to complete scheduled work
- Prepping Vehicles and/or walls/work surface for installation
- Installation of graphics on vehicles/ signage/ walls
- Removal of old graphics,
- Disassembly of vehicles (moldings/handles) considered an asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders/heights.
- You must maintain a neat and orderly work site and workstation and perform all additional tasks as required by management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Window Films, Vehicle Wraps, Signage, & Displays Installations
- Any industry training certifications (3M, Oracle, Avery, etc.)
- Proficient in math/measuring skills
- Detail Oriented
- Technology Orientated (need to be able to work with internal & external software programs)
- Can work and complete installation tasks independently
- You must have a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle and clean driving record as remote installations within Saskatchewan is required.
All aspects of employment will be based on merit, competence, performance and business needs.
Expected start date: As soon as possible
Salary: $25.00-$30.00/hr based on experience and competence + compensation for travel within the province when necessary.
