Job summary

University Support Services LLC is seeking a Field Recruiter to drive recruitment for SGU's School of Medicine (SOM) and School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) across Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba). The role is home-based with extensive travel, representing SGU at fairs, information sessions, and campus events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–2 years in admissions, recruitment, customer service, sales, advising, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with diverse student populations, families, and institutional partners.
• Effective public speaking and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including digital channels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent SGU SOM and SVM at school fairs, pre-med/pre-vet events, clubs, and information sessions (in-person and virtual) in the assigned territory.
• Travel extensively throughout Western Canada (approximately 60–70%) to attend recruitment events and meet advisors and students.
• Build and maintain relationships with pre-med/pre-vet advisors, faculty, and student organizations in the territory.
• Log recruitment activities, contacts, and pipeline updates in the CRM system (Salesforce) in a timely and accurate manner.
