Cape Breton University seeks a Recruitment and Engagement Specialist to lead Western Canada recruitment and partnerships. You will develop programs, manage events, and build relationships with schools, communities, and alumni to expand national reach.

Role requires the ability to travel, strong relationship-building and data-driven decision making within a strategic enrollment framework. University liaison and event management experience are highly valued.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree required; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in partner and stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience with integrated marketing and communications teams.
• Experience in sales and business development environments.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement events.
• Analytical and data-informed strategy development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel and flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage recruitment and engagement strategies for Western Canada.
• Collaborate with Marketing to implement regional strategies and channels.
• Partner with Deans, faculty, and stakeholders to tailor recruitment plans.
• Build relationships with Guidance Counsellors, teachers, and administrators.
• Engage transfer students via program pathways and coordinators.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings, information sessions, and on-campus engagements.
• Travel within Western Canada for education fairs and events.
• Coordinate budgets and logistics for events and activations.
• Work with alumni to enhance recruitment and engagement.
• Ensure data-informed decisions using CRM and Excel.
• Uphold confidentiality and data protection obligations.
