Job summary

University Support Services, LLC is seeking an Admissions Interviewer to conduct remote interviews for prospective medical students with a preference for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. The role supports holistic evaluation and prepares summaries to guide the School of Medicine’s selection process.

Responsibilities include conducting interviews across regions, maintaining professionalism, and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent such as, not limited to: DO, DPM, PhD, EdD, DrPH, or similar.
• Experience in healthcare or health professions education required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for, conduct, and summarize admission interviews across various world regions.
• Assess each applicant on the desired attributes of an SGU medical student using guidelines provided by the Interview Program.
• Demonstrate professionalism, cultural awareness, active listening, and thoughtful written communication during interviews and summaries.
• Attend bi-weekly or monthly professional development sessions as required.
• Review and incorporate guidelines from newsletters and other resources provided by the Interview Program.
• Submit timely interview summary reports and respond to inquiries from the Interview Program.
