Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled welder/millwright to support operations across machinery, heavy equipment, and facility infrastructure. You will perform welding, fabrication, and maintenance with a strict focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires experience with structural welding and millwright tasks, reading technical drawings, and maintaining equipment with preventive strategies. A valid driver’s license is needed, and the job offers competitive pay and comprehensive

Qualifications

Experience with SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) welding on various metals.
Reading welding blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Valid driver's license; ability to perform physical tasks in an industrial yard or shop.

Responsibilities

Welding & fabrication: perform high-quality structural welding and custom fabrication.
Mechanical maintenance: inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery and hydraulic systems.
Millwright duties: align, install, dismantle industrial equipment and components.
Preventive maintenance: execute routine maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Safety & compliance: follow LOTO, PPE, and safety policies.
