Randstad Canada is seeking a Welder-Fitter for a permanent, full-time position in Stoney Creek, Ontario. You will fit W-beams, plates and tubing in a modern facility and mentor junior team members.

The position offers $30.00–$40.00 per hour, health and dental after 3 months, plus RRSP matching. Applicants should have CWB certification and 3–5 years of verified experience reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Must hold active CWB tickets or have held CWB certification in FCAW/MCAW within the past year.
• Require 3 to 5 years of verified Welder-Fitter experience in the skilled trades.
• Demonstrated experience reading structural blueprints without jigs.
• Proven history operating workshop equipment, torch tools, grinders and crane systems in Stoney Creek.

Responsibilities

• Fit structural components like W-beams, plates and tubing without jigs 80% of the time in Stoney Creek.
• Execute Flux Core and Metal-Core welding processes ~20% of shifts.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints to measure, align and tack fabrications.
• Operate grinders, cutting torches and overhead cranes within the facility.
