Job summary

Horst Systems in Elmira, Ontario seeks a Welder/Fitter with strong workmanship to join our Production Team. You will read blueprints, weld and assemble metal parts, and contribute to field installation projects.

The role requires at least 3 years welding experience and a valid CWB GMAW Flat ticket (or the ability to obtain one). You will work with bandsaw, drill press, ironworker, and welding equipment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years welding experience.
• Current CWB GMAW Flat ticket or ability to achieve.
• Skills in fitting and welding steel structures and sheet metal.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Assemble and weld metal pieces to specifications.
• Use jigs to assemble components and operate welders.
• Maintain safety and clean work area.
