Job summary

NorFab Metal and Machine in Timmins, ON is seeking a Welder/Fitter for full-time, 10-hour shifts (6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday). Wages vary by position and experience, with Welders earning $28.00-$35.00/hr and Fitters $35.00-$45.00/hr.

Comprehensive benefits after 3 months and RRSP contributions after 6 months are offered, plus annual incentives. Candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, CWB FCAW all-position ticket, and 3–5 years of shop experience with structural steel.

Salary: Varied

• $28.00 - $35.00 (depending on experience) Welders

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and own transportation to / from work.
• The ideal candidate will have CWB FCAW all position ticket combined with 3-5 years shop experience working with structural steel.
• The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, be mechanically inclined and demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
• They will be able to follow directions, work well with others and have the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a team environment. This individual will be reliable and punctual at all times and be able to work with minimal supervision.
