Hansen Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our Sheet Metal Shop on the Day shift in Richmond, BC. The role requires performing GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG welding, reading shop drawings, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates will have a manufacturing background, a valid C level welding ticket, and the ability to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum at various thicknesses. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Working experience in the Manufacturing environment.
• Minimum C level – ticket.
• Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings and blueprints.
• Able to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum with GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG.
• Creative and willing to learn.

• Follow job router drawings and other written or verbal instructions.
• Inspect completed welds.
• Repair faulty products using welding procedures.
• Competence in operating GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG welding.
• Ability to weld various thicknesses of material.
• Help in other areas.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
