Job summary

TEEMA in Montreal, Quebec is seeking a Production Supervisor for the weekend shift. You will lead a team of 10–15 technicians and operators, ensure production and testing meet quality and schedule targets, and partner with planning and logistics to optimize flow.

The role requires strong leadership, unionized workforce experience, and proficiency with Power BI and Excel. This onsite position offers a competitive salary and weekend shift premium.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing teams in a unionized workplace with collective agreements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Experience supervising technical testing or production testing activities.
• Strong production KPIs understanding and operational reporting, Power BI experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a weekend shift of 10–15 technicians and operators.
• Oversee production and testing activities to meet quality specs.
• Assign work based on schedules and priorities.
• Ensure resources, equipment, and materials are available for production flow.
• Coach and develop employees; foster a collaborative team environment.
• Serve as primary contact for weekend shift personnel.
• Resolve scheduling and resource conflicts with planning and logistics.
• Monitor production KPIs and drive improvements with data.
• Support reporting and production analytics, including Power BI.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
• Participate in hiring, development, and performance evaluations.
• Act on behalf of the Production Manager when required.
