Job summary

Autism Services in Saskatchewan is seeking Direct Support Workers to join our weekend shifts in group homes. You will help create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for clients.

In this role you will assist with daily activities, meals, personal care, medication support, and health monitoring, while advocating for clients and collaborating with families and staff. You should have prior experience with disabilities and a valid driver's license. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check completed.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients and support safe, respectful environments.
• Assist with daily living activities, meals, personal care, and health monitoring.
• Support with medication administration and accompany clients to appointments.
• Collaborate with manager to implement program plans.
• Maintain cleanliness of the home and assist with upkeep.
• Participate in safety drills and training as required.
